The Fusion Stack (“we,” “us,” “this site”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Contact form / email: If you email us or submit a contact form, we collect whatever you provide (name, email address, message content) solely to respond to you. We don’t add you to a mailing list without separate, explicit consent.
Comments: If commenting is enabled on articles, WordPress collects the name, email, and website you enter, along with an anonymized IP address and browser user-agent string, to help detect spam. Your comment and profile picture (if using Gravatar) may be visible to the public once approved.
Cookies: This site currently uses only strictly necessary cookies required for basic site functionality (such as remembering cookie-consent preferences). We do not currently run analytics or advertising tracking. If that changes — for example, if we add Google Analytics — we will update this policy and our cookie consent banner accordingly, and will only load non-essential cookies after you’ve given consent where required by law.
Affiliate links
Some articles contain affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This does not influence which products we recommend — see our About page for more on that. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites you’re directed to.
Third-party services
We may use third-party services to operate this site (for example, our web host, and in the future Google Search Console/Analytics or affiliate network tracking). These providers may collect information as governed by their own privacy policies:
We’ll list additional third-party tools here as they’re added.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing.
- EU/UK visitors (GDPR): you have rights including access, correction, deletion, and objection to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- California visitors (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves — particularly as analytics, affiliate tracking, or new tools are added. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
Contact
Questions about this policy or your data: hello@thefusionstack.com, or via our Contact page.
This is a starting-point privacy policy, not legal advice. Before this site takes on meaningful EU/UK or California traffic, or before applying to affiliate networks and enabling analytics, it’s worth having a lawyer (or a service like Termageddon/iubenda) review or generate a policy tailored to your specific data practices — requirements vary by jurisdiction and change over time.
